OUR CHEF

Born in Mexico City, Marcela Lopez Sanchez attended the Cordon Bleu where she studied to be a chef. She was hand-picked for a yearlong internship at one the best restaurants in the world, Arzak in San Sebastian, Spain – a famed 3 Star Michelin restaurant.  She loves fusing Mexican Ingredients with Spanish and French regional cooking styles.

CONCEPT CHEF

Brandon Guenther holds a B.S. degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University and an A.A. in culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu. Brandon’s culinary career spans restaurant kitchens throughout Arizona, foodservice and hotel management at the Renaissance Madison Hotel in downtown Seattle, Washington, event management for two premier west coast caterers, Lisa Dupar Catering and Paula LeDuc Fine Catering, and culinary consultation on the development of new restaurant concepts both locally and abroad.

He and his wife Shona Campbell founded Firefly Catering in the San Francisco Bay area in 2003, Valley Ford Hotel and Rocker Oysterfeller’s Kitchen + Saloon in Valley Ford in 2006 and Tortilla Flats Cantina in 2016 and operate them to this day.
